Water Management

Water Management & Reclamation

In an area that fights cycles of drought and floods, water management is a crucial component of any plan.

The Larkin Group is committed to providing quality, integrated, system design, build, own, and operate services.

We focus on:
Creating new water supplies by treating impaired water sources
Optimizing water management
Wildfire protection
Reuse
Conservation
Drainage

With hotter, dryer weather across the Western United States, from California to Texas, the days of consuming water as though it were an infinite resource are over. As the availability of water decreases and the quality of available water is degraded, the cost increases, and projects will have to find new ways to secure the water they need to keep moving forward. Exploring the possibility of creating new water supplies through cost effective treatment of local impaired water sources should be a foundational part of everyone’s approach.

Simultaneously, weather volatility is increasing, with more torrential rainfalls and flood events. We must also plan for those as well - to ensure that we capture the overabundance of rainwater and save it for later use by building systems for underground water banking, and any needed treatment trains, to clean the stored water for reuse.
