As the availability of water decreases and the quality of available water is degraded, the cost increases, and projects will have to find new ways to secure the water they need to keep moving forward. Exploring the possibility of creating new water supplies through cost effective treatment of local impaired water sources should be a foundational part of everyone’s approach.
Simultaneously, weather volatility is increasing, with more torrential rainfalls and flood events.
