You can see their work on display now at the London Olympics. AECOM served as the Master Planner that helped London lay out the Olympic venues. They also planned how the massive infrastructure built for the Games will be used once the Games are over- to help London to launch one of the largest urban regeneration projects in Europe.

AECOM is also the winner of an international competition to design the master plan for Rio de Janeiro’s Olympic Park for the 2016 Games in Brazil. Highlights of the project’s legacy include environmental preservation and the viability of maintaining and preserving the adjacent lagoon.

One of AECOM’s many golf projects included acting as Master Planner for a 36-hole golf resort on the Shenzhou Peninsula in Hainan, China.  The project included planning for high-end hotels, golf courses, a clubhouse, marina, villas and eco-systems.
